The Bush family lived in Austin, Texas during the time George W. Bush was Governor of Texas. Jenna graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in English in May of 2004.
First Lady Laura Bush also earned her masters degree in library science at UT in 1973.
The school's mascot is the Texas Longhorn.

We waited patiently for our invitation to the wedding to arrive in the mail, but just like everyone else in Central Texas, it never came.
So, to not be deprived of celebrating our neighbor's little girl's nuptials, we decided to have our own party at The Coffee Shop in McGregor where we invited the Crawford/McGregor community and served complimentary wedding cake decorated with Secret Service agents on the sides guarding the White House on the top. Master florial designer Paul Farney of Waco provided a truly unique piece for our cake table. We even put 'Father of the Bride' in the DVD player just for fun.
We were joined by the national media for the celebration with television crews from the NBC Nightly News and the Fox News Channel along with representatives from People Magazine and several newspapers. To top off the evening we went LIVE from The Coffee Shop on Geraldo Rivera's show on Fox. |
